How to Update a WPZOOM Theme using the 1-Click Updater

When a new version of your WPZOOM theme is available, you will see a yellow notice at the top of your WordPress Dashboard.

We recommend you always keep your theme up to date to ensure that it is fully compatible with the latest WordPress version available and that all known bugs are fixed.

We also have a dedicated page on which you can find the full changelogs for all of our themes. This is useful if you have multiple sites using our themes and want to see quicker when a specific theme was last updated and what exactly was changed.
Using a 3rd party service like Feedrabbit or Blogtrottr you can set up email notifications via the RSS Feed to be informed when a new theme update is available.

1. Activate your License Key

To benefit from 1-click theme updates, your license key must not be expired, and you need to activate it on your website.

In this article, you can find more details about your license key and how to use it:
Where can I find my license key, and how can I activate it?

2. Update your Theme

If you see a notification that a new version is available, just click on the Update now link from the notification at the top.

You can also check if a new update for your theme is available on the Appearance > Themes page.

No customizations or changes made to Widgets, Menus, Customizer (Fonts, Colors, Logo, etc.) will be affected when updating your current theme. Make sure to backup only changes you made directly in theme files.
We recommend you to create a Child Theme if you want to make changes in theme files.

1-Click Theme Updates Troubleshooter

Are you getting the following error when updating your theme?
The solution is simple: try to update the theme a few more times, as usually it works from a few attempts, or try to update the theme from the Appearance > Themes page:

If this is not helpful, try to delete the license key and activate it again on the Theme License page.

The theme looks broken after update?
Sometimes, after a major update it’s possible that your theme to look broken if you’re using a caching plugin. You can fix this easily by clearing your browser cache or do a hard refresh in the tab with your website in your browser (CMD+Shift+R on Mac in Chrome or Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows in Chrome). View more instructions here and here.
If this did not fix the issue, we recommend clearing the cache from your caching plugin and the cache from plugins that minify/combine CSS and JS files (Autoptimize, LiteSpeed Cache, WP Rocket, etc.).
Don’t forget to backup “custom.css” file and /languages/ folder if you added any custom stylesheets in the custom.css file or translated your theme in a different language.
Sometimes things go wrong.  For this reason, we recommend you make a backup of your theme before continuing. Please look here for plugins that allow you to export or create a backup of a theme installed on your website.
