Since 2009 we’ve actively helped customers of our themes and plugins with different issues.
It’s no news that bugs can sometimes happen when releasing a new product or a major update, but many times some issues can be caused by external factors.
In our case, external factors could be 3rd party plugins and services or the hosting provider.
In order to make it simpler, we’ll publish on this page what we think about different hosting companies.
If a company makes it to this list, we guarantee that your experience with WordPress and our products will be a stress-free one.
SiteGround – absolute winner when it comes to the price-quality ratio. Affordable prices and support you can count on.
WordPress.com – incredible performance
WPEngine
Cloudways
Liquidweb
Digital Ocean
Kinsta
We have included in this list hosting providers that offer their services at a very low price (under $10/month). These companies target beginners or users who don’t care too much about their websites’ performance.
It is totally OK if your website is currently hosted with one of these companies and everything runs fine. We don’t blame them or you for anything. In the end, if you’re happy with what you’re getting for your money, feel free to continue to host your website with them.
However, keep in mind that the performance and future-proof of your website could be much better if avoiding shared hosting like:
HostGator
GoDaddy
Bluehost
one.com
Altervista
1&1
Dreamhost

If you’re paying very little for your hosting, the chances that you’re on a shared plan are very high. This means that your website is on the same server as hundreds of other websites. In other words, if one of these websites has a lot of traffic or is using too many server resources, your site may slow down.
Our themes work great on all hosting providers and are no known incompatibilities.
There are no special requirements needed to install one of our themes besides the WordPress requirements:
While we guarantee that our themes will work fine no matter where you host your website, we reserve the right to refuse to provide technical support if your website is loading very slowly.
You can do many things to improve your website loading speed when you’re hosted with a reputable provider. We highly recommend taking a look at our tutorial to improve the PageSpeed score.
However, suppose you’re on a shared (aka cheap) hosting. In that case, it’s enough to install a complex plugin such as WooCommerce or Elementor, and you will notice immediately that your website slows down. If this is the case, then this is a clear message that your hosting is limiting your website’s performance, and a wise option would be to migrate to a reputable WordPress hosting.
